For others, the trend is toward something a bit more modest: namely, landscaping back yards with an eye to all four seasons. Sometimes just adding some actual living space as in a patio with possibly a small fire pit or a pondless waterfall and of course the finishing touches that true landscape brings as with specific trees and perennials, sod and mulch.
